Thomas Anderson (Owner)

Originally from Virginia, USA, Thomas relocated to Puerto Viejo after a year-long overland trip across the United States and throughout Central America led him to the Southern Caribbean in Costa Rica.  He quickly fell in love with the Puerto Viejo area and has a passion for its people, culture, and unparalleled wildlife.  Since graduating from the University of Virginia in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Thomas worked as a commercial real estate broker in Washington, D.C. and an international risk management consultant in New York City.

Toby Rippetoe (Land Consulting and Business Planning)

Toby’s experience started in 1996 in Crested Butte, Colorado where he was founder/owner of The Resort Realty Group. Since the sale of his Colorado company Toby has been consulting in the various areas of Real Estate & Acquisitions, Property Management, Construction Management, Project Management and Development.

As an Owner/Developer he was awarded the "Superstar Property of the Year" for one of his 2006 Gunnison, Colorado properties.

In 2007 Toby relocated to Puerto Viejo and developed Colorado Caribe, a 42 acre private community, where he now resides.
